About the Program
K-Heritage Academy is a prestige, non-degree program designed for International participants in Korea
It provides systematic heritage education to those who have had few opportunities to explore and experience Korea’s cultural heritage. By doing so, it aims to deepen their appreciation and understanding of Korean culture and heritage.
Using the academic resources of Korea National University of Heritage (KNUH) and significant national heritage sites, K-Heritage Academy offers unique educational experiences that only a specialized heritage institution can provide.
Target Participants & Key Features
- Foreign residents in Korea with cultural or social influence (e.g., ambassadors, diplomats, scholars, international students)
- Facilitates the promotion of K-Heritage and enhances cultural diplomacy
- Aims to be a leading program that empowers private cultural diplomacy

One-Day special event for Ambassadors (lecture & experience)
- Target: Ambassadors to Korea
- Duration: 1 day
- Number of Participants: 15
- Schedule: First half of the year
- Theme: A one-day special lecture on Korean cultural heritage

Summer Semester Program for International Students
- Target: International students in Korea
- Duration: 10 sessions (3 weeks)
- Number of Participants: Up to 20
- Schedule: Summer session
- Theme: “Understanding Korean Heritage”

K-Heritage Leadership Program for Global Leaders
- Target: Global leaders (diplomats, scholars, international organization staff, journalists, etc.)
- Duration: 10 sessions (10 weeks)
- Number of Participants: Up to 20
- Schedule: Spring & Fall
- Theme: “Special Lecture Series on Tangible and Intangible Heritage”
